Twelve years ago I was not an avid book reader.
Actually, when I was in school it was one of the last things I wanted to do. Read. I’m sure many of you can relate.
However, I received a book for Christmas 1999 by Robin Sharma. It was titled, “The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari”.
I opened the book and began to read.
It was literally the first book I ever read that I could not put down. I finished that book in less than 3 days. Reading Books Can Change Your Life. That book changed mine.
Watch the video below to learn a little more about my thoughts regarding books, having a personal library and how powerful it can be for your success!
So do you have any thoughts, questions or feedback? I’d love to hear from you. Leave your comments below and if you enjoyed this post feel free to share it with others.

The reality check I recently had was…You don’t know what you don’t know! As I have started to grow my library, I realized how complex being a leader is. It’s not just about who’s in your business or who gets paid more. To me, it’s about those who follow because they want to. If I can develop myself into someone who people choose to follow, that is success.
Thanks for a great post Donna!

Thanks Donna for the video and book suggestions. I will have to make it a point to read more of John Maxwell’s books!
One of my goals….is to learn to become someone people will WANT to listen to and follow.
I have so much to learn…..books are the answer.
Thanks for the timely message!

Hey Donna,
I totally agree, reading is so good for us and helps us think on such a different level it also helps us disengage from a society that is full of rule and regulations and lets us start to remember who we are once again.
Thanks for sharing,
Beth
